Ebonyi Senator offers scholarship to deceased children of APC chieftain

Senator Ken Eze, who represents Ebonyi Central Senatorial District and Chairs the Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, has offered Scholarship awards to the deceased children of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains in Amudo, Ezza South LGA of the state.

The senator gave the scholarship to Miss Chiderah Easter Okeh and Master Chinonso Henry Nwankwo at the university level.

Senator Eze made the pronouncement when he paid a condolence visit to the bereaved families of the two APC faithful: the Late Hon. Edwin Okeh, who was Ezza South Local Government APC Assistant Treasurer and the Late Mrs. Augustina Nwankwo, a strong APC Woman mobilizer in Amudo Ezza South LGA.

Senator Ken Eze, who described death as the inevitable end that awaits every mortal, encouraged the family members of the fallen party faithful, particularly their children, to have trust in God and be consoled by the quality legacies of their late parents.

He stated that APC is one united big family and enjoined the children of the deceased to always feel free to seek his attention whenever the need arises.

The Senator made some cash donations to the families and assured them he would continue to offer them some other sundry assistance in appreciation of their late parents’ noble roles in developing society and progressing APC in Ezza South and Ebonyi State at large.

Senator was accompanied on the visit by Ezza South APC Chairman, Barr. Chukwuemeka Uwa and the Coordinator of Ezza South East Development Center Hon. Uchenna Chita among other APC Stakeholders.

The senator also visited the family of the Late Hon. Ikechukwu Ukpabi (Ezeke), a staunch APC member in the Onueke Urban Ward of Ezza South LGA.
