Anambra Youth Community Leaders declare full support for Gov. Soludo, promises 179/179. Says youths benefited more in his Administration

The 179 Youth Community Leaders in Anambra State have declared her support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo, pledging to give him 179/179 score in the November 8, 2025 governorship election.

The leaders made this declaration through their President General of the Anambra State Association of Town Union ASATU Youth wing, Comrd Ken Okoli when addressing journalist in the state during a maiden edition of their leadership training workshop held at the ASATU Hall, Government House, Awka.

The two-day workshop, themed “The Role of ASATU Youth in Deepening and Consolidating Leadership, Security, Governance and Value System for Community Development is in Line with the Solution Agenda of the Soludo Administration,” was organized by the Anambra State Association of Town Union Youth Wing (ASATU Youth), in collaboration with office of Accountant-General of Local Government and the Industrial Training Fund (ITF),

Comrd Ken stated that the policies and priorities of Governor Soludo consistently reflected an unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and transformation. According to him, Anambra youths had never had it this good, as the present administration has placed them at the very core of its developmental blueprint.

He retreated all the programs of the Governor are geared towards Human Capital development. Starting from the launch of the 1Youth, 2Skills’ initiative, SID, to the massive employment of Doctors and Nurses, employment of teachers, building of the Solution Fun City etc, youth remains at the centre of Mr. Governor’s Achievements.

Comrd Ken also said “Under Soludo’s administration, communities in Anambra State has witnessed real development. From the construction of hospitals, Schools, the dual-lane road project in most of the major roads. He also commends his decisive action in tackling insecurity.

The President General ASATU youth wing stated that youth across the state will rise to their civic responsibilities, to come out in mass and vote for Mr. Governor come Novermber 8 to change the narrative of saying it is golden time for them to play their own part in building a greater Anambra under the Governor Solution Agenda.

The well-attended event organized by Comrade Ken Okoli-led ASATU Youth, was also graced by the Deputy Governor of the State, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim; the Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly and member representing Anaocha II Constituency, Hon. Sir Ejike Okechukwu; State Commissioner for Lands, Prof. Offornze Amucheazi (SAN); and Social Development Specialist, Hon. Chudi Mojekwu, among others.
